며칠전 락스타 게임즈가 개발하는 GTA 5의 온라인 버전인 GTA 온라인에서 신규 여름 컨텐츠인 다이아몬드 리조트 & 카지노가 업데이트됐는데요. 컨텐츠 중 실제 도박이 아닌 게임 내 머니를 이용하는 카지노 게임이 한국 포함 세계 50개국 이상에서 현재 사용할 수 없다고 합니다.
신규 컨텐츠가 업데이트 된 후 전세계의 플레이어가 같은 기능의 사용 불능으로 레딧등에 올렸고 레딧 유저는 카지노가 금지된 국가의 목록도 올렸습니다. 도박 관련 게임을 표현하는게 어려운 중국과 포르투칼, 베네수엘라, 이라크, 이란, 북한등의 국가도 포함. 온라인 카지노 자체가 불법으로 규정하는 국가에서도 마찬가지로 규제가 이루어지고 있다고 합니다.
